Nest Making Thoughts

All of this joy over my newest kitchen item - the penguin dish towel - has got me thinking about some other crafty kitchen ideas. For starters, I think I'd like to make my own linen hand towels. That will be on my to-do list for tomorrow - raid the linen box to see if I have any suitable scraps. I'd like to decorate the little towels with gro-grain ribbons in fun colors. I'll probably purchase some tiffany blue ribbon to match the fiestaware, and also use ribbons that I have in my stash. No sense in letting all those delightful ribbons sit around for so long. Maybe some rick-rack trim, too. Especially since I just got some teeny tiny rick rack in tiffany blue the other day at a thrift store. : )
