More thoughts on a dress to wear for graduation. This J.Crew dress is sort of hot, too. Hmm...then again, it would be a lot easier to just buy a dress, so I might keep my eye open at Ann Taylor. I <3 that store. They had this really hot black chiffon tier skirt 50s dress with ruching on the bodice there the other day that was a lot like the dresses Reese Witherspoon wore in 'Walk the Line'. As a matter of fact, I'm fairly certain that it was a repro of one of the dresses that she wore - it might have been red or navy blue in the movie. I remember seeing that style before when researching my designs for 'Three Days of Rain'. I guess maybe I could have seen it in an old Sears catalog, too. But it's definitely a repro of some original. ; ) I told mom to stalk the store until it goes on sale and then buy it for me! : )
