After classes my friend, Sabrina, and I headed out to the Ann Taylor Loft so that I could try on the black dress that I have covetted from there since I saw it a few weeks ago. Their dressing rooms were star worthy and it was super fun - I think I'm going to have to make a few more trips there before the end of the year. : ) Initially I was disappointed that the dress didn't look as splendiforous as I had imagined it would. I was going to hang it up and forget it, but then I got it into my head to try on the size 0 and to my delight it did the trick. It's amazing how a good fit can effect the beauty of a garment. : ) So I purchased the dress and a blue and ivory striped summery skirt. We headed over to Target to shop for 'blacks' for Sabrina to wear for a show she's working backstage on. I found a pair of espidrilles that will go perfectly with the black dress - they have black silk taffeta looking ribbons that tie up the leg and the front is formed of a cute black ribbon design. Very chic. So I purchased them to go with the black dress. I'm so excited about this new outfit, it's very romantic looking.
Friday night V and I went to Navigators and afterwards played 'broomball' (sort of like ice hockey but geekier) with other Navs people. Then we headed to a little coffee stand on campus to hang out with a few of Vince's friends. They were pretty hilarious and it was a good time. Sabrina and I headed over to the HUB for their free craft (gotta take advantage of free stuff) and painted flower pots together. Not sure what I'll do with mine since the heat is still on in the dorms and it kills all things living (except people...).
Today I answered emails and did homework, and tonight V and I are going out to Michaels and Walmart. I <3 shopping sprees with good friends. V and I always have so much fun at Walmart - and I always attempt to sneak over and look at the DVD section when he's not looking. ; )
