Might I just say...that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Christmas tree! It's described as "Modern Glamour" and it's soooo stunning! I want one just like it! I really do love the disco ball tree topper...

But I think if I were doing a tree like this I would go with a giant silver sparkle star topper instead. Aren't the colors so pretty, though?

I'm really in love with the White Christmas trees, too. I could probably put that fake snow stuff on our fake tree, right? I just think the fake tree being green is just sort of obnoxiously fake...but if it's White, well then it's obviously fake, so it's okay...somehow in my mind. : )

Yesterday was our one year since we got engaged, one month since we were married anniversary. So, we went out to dinner at a little local place that has great atmosphere. Dinner by the fire. Yum! We even saved room for desert. : )

Today's day of relaxation went well. I spent the morning at the bookstore, then, since I was halfway there, I decided to drive to some thrift and antique stores. And I actually found some pretty fabulous things. Including another candelabra - this time a silver one. It will be PERFECT for my winter decorating scheme. : )

I baked some apple crisp for our Newlywed Life Group get together tonight. I had such a fun time at Neil and Megan's house.

Megan has the most gorgeous bedroom. The doors are a beautiful deep warm brown antique wood with clear crystal handles. And she has Target red and gold brocade curtains hung at all of the windows and behind the bed. A brown comforter. The bed is raised up very high which makes it look grand. And in the corner they have three large brown wood bookshelves which really look surprisingly delightful in the bedrooml. I would think that a bookshelf would look too cluttered or not romantic, but it really looked great. And a neat antique window frame without the glass hung on the wall. It was ivory with distressed wood and many panes. Hmmmm...it was so pretty. A big mirror, too. : )

Megan and Neil used to live in our current apartment, but were sad to leave it, so it's good to see that their current apartment is cool, too. ; ) It's fun being married. I love going over to people's houses...it sounds creepy that I'm so interested in every detail of people's decorating, but I just love seeing the beauty of different styles and personalities. And I even really love it when other people's houses aren't perfect. It makes me less hard on myself. Heh. ;)
