Just finished writing a BUNCH of Thank You notes for friends and family who attended the Wedding. Vince still has a bunch more to write.
And now I'm HUNGRY! I need to figure out what to make for lunch.
Next up: finishing up sewing the window seat covers for out living room! I promise there will be pictures once the apartment is finally all in order. I'm hoping it will be soon... So far most of the rooms are finished. Or at least phase one - after which they are ready to be seen by others. Phase two will be adding curtains and extra little touches. :) I'm really excited about how the Living room is working out though.
I was pretty worried about it...I just didn't know where I was going with the living room design. Something 1930s I was thinking. Glamorous. To go with the couch. So, after a little antiqueing trip on Saturday I have a lot more idea where I am headed with it. We were able to purchase a coffee table - $19, a Brass Lamp (very vintage/retro) $24, a wood chair with stuffed seat $27, and two fabulous black picture frames...uhhh...they were a little expensive. But they're antique!
We were also able to get out of throwing the dinner party tonight. It will be at another friends house. We will be having everyone over later in the month though. So the decorating process is still at full speed. :)
