Silk flowers I'm making for Reception decorations.

Bible Verse:

Yesterday was set aside for trying on the wedding dress at Lilla's Bridal Boutique in York. I love my dress! I did my hair in the style that I want it in for the wedding, and it looked great with the dress. I took along a fur to try on with it - it looked great. I'm so thankful for that because I was worried that I'd have to purchase another fur. I just didn't want to spend money on another fur when I have tons of furs already! I didn't want to take my dress off. :) I'm so thankful that I decided to go with a silk dress even though it was more expensive. I just wouldn't have been happy if my dress wasn't silk. It sound so snobby, but really, I'm so used to wearing silk ballgowns that it just wouldn't have felt right to have my wedding dress look and feel less beautiful than those dresses. It was worth every penny. :) I'm so excited for the wedding!!!

Today I'm working on a dream dress for another girl. She's going to her senior prom and purchased a Lord and Taylor dress that is...well, a few sizes too large. She's probably an XS to S normally, but the dress is a size L! So I'm taking it in more than a little. ; ) I think it will look really lovely on her when it's all finished!

And then I'm hoping to work on the floral arrangements for inside the tent with Mom tonight. Which I am super excited about! Mom's so good with floral arrangments, wreaths and things, so it's always fun to work with her and see what we can come up with. :)
