Today I sewed for the majority of the day on a man's Paletot jacket (almost finished!) and a few bags I'm making for the Back to the Past Block Party on June 1st. They're a minty green and chocolatey brown color and are just delicious to look at. :) And, I finally broke down and purchased the text book for my patternmaking class with Melissa. She's assigned, "Patternmaking for Fashion Design". I'll let you know how it is. I'm so excited about the lessons! Katie, my mother, and I are taking them with Melissa. She was a fashion design major and is currently creating and designing clothing with a friend for the 'Irish Gypsy' store downtown. An exclusive boutique for original fashion creations.
