Amazing weekend!

This stuff is sooo beautiful! I would love to purchase a few pieces eventually to go with my blue Fiestaware! It doesn't come out until Fall.

This weekend has been fabulous so far! On Friday Vince arrived home from PSU and we left for Gettysburg. This weekend is his birthday and I had a special surprise in store for him. After a picnic lunch in the car at Rockford Plantation - because it was raining heavily we set out to Gettysburg. Upon arriving in Gettysburg we took a detour to the battlefield where I presented Vince with his birthday gift - sort of - a letter announcing that I had purchased him a Corner Clothiers Frock Coat for his birthday. We had already ordered a Tail Coat from Kara for the wedding, so she was able to use his measurements from that to prepare a mock up so that he could have a fitting in her shop yesterday. :)

It was so nice to see Kara again. I admired the beautiful pieces in her shop while Vince had his fitting. Afterwards we went for dinner at a Chinese restaurant before arriving home just in time for a movie.

Today was garage sale day! We had to wake up super early - 7:30 ; ) to hit the best sales at 8:00. I found a few cute things...no new furniture, but we had an awesome time driving around together. Afterwards we headed back to Vince's place for lunch and some Vincent and Eric playtime before heading back out to work on our wedding gift registry. Later we went for dinner with my parents to celebrate Vince's birthday, and then back to my place for some yummy chocolate cake! And presents, of course!

What an exciting weekend so far! I've had some really inspiring moments and it's been so good to be back with my Vincent again.
