Yesterday I had the first Bridal Shower thrown for me! At work! It was such a sweet gesture that I totally wasn't expecting! The ladies all purchased me kitchen items. They worked so hard at planning it and everyone even made food to bring in...lots of sweets. It was held at our morning break. I was very surprised! Wow, I feel so loved. Even though things have been hard in my time there, I really love the people. :)

Today I attended a sewing workshop in the morning. The coordinators of it didn't show up (long story...) so my mom and I ended up helping everyone. Heh. I hate workshops. :) Sometime I want to go and have people help me...rather than always being the one to help. And, workshops that I attend always have one huge downside, at the end of the workshop people figure out that they don't really know how to sew, and dump their projects on me. And I have such a hard time saying no. So now I have four new things to sew...and I wasn't even advertising my services. It must be written on my forehead or something: I sew for nothing. Ugh. But, I've decided that I'll try very hard to charge a fair price (for me) and if they still think it's too much then that will have to be their loss. It's so hard when you have an education in this field. You have to charge something...and yet I always feel bad doing it. :(
