Penguin Love and Crafts

<3 Penguins <3

Tonight was craft night at Jane's house. How fun! After a delicious dinner cooked by Jane we took a 'field trip' to her mother's house, which is right down the hill from the studio, to see the soap making room. What an adorable little work room. Rather than having an artistic flair like so many crafting rooms, it had an antiqued look, which was refreshing and pleasant. The aromas were delightful, too! She showed us her soaps and told us about the process of making soap. She makes them to sell locally. It was very inspiring!

Melissa was working on making snowflakes for a winter party, and Lashonda worked on a scrapbook for 2007. Both of those ladies are so talented and inspire me to new levels of craftiness!

I've changed so much in this past year! I have been able to explore fashion to a greater level...my own adaptations of vintage and chic, and have really begun to love crafting and sewing. It has become something that defines me. How wonderful change can be!

My brother made the above graffic for me because he knows that I have formed an attachment to penguins. They make me smile!
