Here's a before photo of my next refinishing projects!
These chairs were traded to me by Rock Ford for a presentation on historical clothing. They're such a stunning style, I think. Very French Country looking. I can't wait to recover them to put in the kitchen where I'll also have a small table for comfy breakfasts with my Vincent.
The table was recently purchased and will be re-finished. It's an antique piece possibly from the 1930s (or so I was told). The wood is so beautiful - it's oak. I love the pedestal and large feet. Just my style. :) I need to find some interesting chairs to go with it. Something antique or vintage, possibly painted or a different color wood. We saw a few interesting styles at the place where we purchased the table, but I'd like to see if I can find some even less expensive. It will be my summer challenge. ; )
Today a customer stopped by to drop off some fabric for a 1780s Chemise a la Reine dress. She brought along some vintage 1930s nightgowns to show me. They were all so cute! And she got them for dirt cheap, too!
