Accomplishing Much, Accomplishing Little

This week has been full of grand accomplishments as well as few accomplishments. As far as wedding planning I've taken great strides. Finding the perfect wedding gown on Monday and Tuesday, shopping for a dining room table, and begining a wedding gift registry today. But I haven't finished any great sewing projects. I hemmed a prom dress for the daughter of a friend of my mom. And began another project. But things have been slow in the sewing department lately.

This evening I'm going through library books and photographing pictures of costumes. I love the book "Moden 1790-1840" - what great patterns it has! Lots of pretty Regency era dresses.

I think I like dreaming up how to decorate our apartment next year more than wedding planning. Wedding planning is so tedious! It's all about money it seems. Ugh.

Accomplishing Much, Accomplishing Little...it seems to be the story of my life, perhaps true for everyone.

Has anything come of the idea of having a pre-wedding tea? still think that would be much fun!
