Valentine's day will be here soon! Tonight Vince and I plan to celebrate with a special surprise I'm planning! I'll be sure to post pictures. ;)
This weekend was FABULOUS! Friday and Saturday night we spent with our neighbors watching Elizabeth and Elizabeth the Golden Age. I really LOVE the costumes in the second movie. All of the scenes are so breathtakingly beautiful. STUNNING colors. LUSCIOUS silk gowns. Just BEAUTIFUL!
Saturday morning we went to the TRASH TO TREASURE sale at Penn State and scored some big treasures! I found a pair of UGG boots in my size. Very cute! A whole armful of name brand tank tops - I like to wear them under my shirts/sweaters. And lots of fun sweaters - two Free People sweaters that are just darling! I can't wait to wear them. ;) I'm getting so good at these rummage sales. My strategy is to go directly to the items that I'm most interested in as soon as I get in the door. If you don't, you get caught up in the throngs of people and will never get the goods you want. ;)
Yesterday my parents, brother, and grandmother came to visit to celebrate my birthday. This, of course, meant more DELICIOUS chocolate cake eating. And lots of showing off my (finally) completely DECORATED apartment!
Saturday the grounds of our home were covered in SNOW, but by Sunday morning everything was GREEN again! It feels like SPRING is almost here...we'll see. ; )
SPRING DECORATING: I'd like to get several mini rose plants for inside this spring instead of fake flowers. And I've heard that they have potted bulbs at Costco that I might like to aquire for my decorating. ; ) Also, I'll be making some real silk flowers to decorate the table for Spring and Summer.
