We visited the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City where they had an exhibit entitled 'Seduction' (perfect for Valentine's day, right?). The exhibit was part of their Museum collection and featured clothing from the 1700s to present.
Above is a darling 1958 lace party dress.

It was a great exhibit. I found a lovely 1865 evening gown that took me awhile to sketch! (No pictures) Afterwards we checked out the school bookstore...I was pretty much in heaven. They had all the costume books I could dream of, plus tons of sewing and art supplies. :)
