As you can imagine, things have been pretty busy around here with wedding planning. A little stressful too at times. But I'm holding up pretty well and sooo excited about our honeymoon! And Fall!!!
This is one of the lovely images that Lauren Fisher of Elle Photography captured for us during our Engagement Photo shoot earlier in the summer. We had such a fun time walking around downtown while Lauren snapped pictures. Vince said it was one of the best days of his life. ; ) Lauren's an excellent photographer and we've really enjoyed working with her so far!
Lately I've been doing a lot of thrifting, it seems. I love fall because Goodwill gets out all of its halloween things! The other day I purchased a giant spider costume for the pets...they didn't like it very much, but of course I found it hilarious. Especially our orange cat...he really didn't like wearing the giant spider costume and gave me a good whack afterwards to show his displeasure. This morning he ate the directions to Vince's wedding pants...probably to pay me back. Heh.
This weekend we attended the Fulton Opera House's rendition of 'Oklahoma' which was awesome! I had such a blast. I <3 musicals. I can't stop smiling at all of the big dance numbers. : ) Sunday, my Bridesmaid Val and my mother threw a Bridal shower for me at our home. My mother had the dining room all decked out with the finest china and linens for a tea party. The dining room table was covered in sweets...chocolates, cookies, cake, and the most wonderful little cupcakes baked my a gourmet bakery near where Val lives. I had such a marvelous time! It was very good to see friends and family that I don't get to see very often! I'm soooo excited to see them again at the wedding! :)
