This morning my mother and I stopped by my friend Beverly's house to attend a moving sale that she was having. She and her family have collected and sold antiques all of her life, so I knew that there would be some good finds. There were! But my favorite 'find' was not at the garage sale at all! Beverly GAVE me this lovely antique dress from the early 1900s! Isn't it dear? I believe it's a ballgown or party dress because of the train. I love the asymmetrical design of the bodice and sleeves. I would really like to make a reproduction of it one day.It's so fun to have inspiring friends like Beverly who are so creative, talented, and unique. And I'm soooo thankful for this absolutely stunning dress that I can now add to my collection! :)
