This is why I took some time off from reenacting...because things like this bother me. Someone came to me about a year ago and wanted me to help them start their reenacting wardrobe. They had a million and one questions, which I tried my best to answer in my limited amount of spare time. And today, while searching some things for my presentation, I found that they got on one of the forums, totally misquoted me on some information I gave them, and asked if that information was correct. Don't worry, Rosie, it wasn't you! ; ) But, the funny part is that one of the veteran reenactors whose information is very reliable TOTALLY shot this girl down and basically backed up everything that I had said. Hehehe. But, still, how uncool is it to make someone else provide all the research for you and then check them on the forums? Hello? Why not just do the research yourself?
Heh. Reenacting. You love it, you hate it. You meet great people, you meet really really creepy people. :)

Someone did something similar to Marc. This guy wanted Marc to make him something. Then, the guy emailed Chris Daley asking him about Marc's research etc. Of course, Daley told Marc about it. It really annoyed Marc.
Ugh. That stinks. I hope he didn't make it for the guy. That's such a rotten thing to do. :(
Ahh! I'm glad it wasn't me! For a second there I was thinking "Oh my gosh! Did I ever do that!?" Hehe
If ppl have doubts about things, they should research it for themselves.
