Researching wedding music has transported me back to the days of Middle and High school! I miss those fun times! Things seem so different now!
Football games, Middle School Dances, crushes on...heh, probably not so cute guys, lots of time with good friends - Carrie, Lauren and Trisha. And, of course, the Pop Culture of our day. Like, Romeo and Juliet starring Claire Danes and the ever so adorable Leonardo DiCaprio that we just couldn't seem to get enough of. We even adopted a guy friend who happened to look remarkably like Leo...even down to the slightly greasy hairstyle and lanky figure. Heh. So silly! And, of course, I miss the music concerts - my friends were really into Hanson (we screamed until Carrie lost her voice) and Backstreet Boys...back then everyone was into them! : )
I think I might try to sneak a few of the 1990s songs into the wedding reception repertoire just for fun! If you're dancing, you might as well dance to something you love!

I shall try not to dwell on the time when I liked them. Lol. I suppose you were past the boy band phase when NSYNC unleashed their awfulness on the world?
Totally unrelated, but I've been meaning to ask you - would you mind picking me up in Gettysburg on the way down to the clothing exhibit at Shippensburg? I'm staying with a friend for the genteel arts camp this year and won't have access to a car. I would completely understand if this is too much trouble ;-) Let me know it that's the case and I'll see if I can hitch a ride to Shippensburg : )

NSync was just becoming popular when I was sort of getting out of the boy band phase. I wouldn't say I was really ever into them...just on the fringe because my friends were bonkers about Hanson and Backstreet Boys! Heh.
Sorry I didn't get back to you about the ride to Shippensburg yet! I need to ask my mom, she's driving! Just keep asking me if I don't get back to you. ;) I'll try to remember to ask her today. :)
