Another Lovely Weekend

This weekend, although not quite over, feels like it's drawing to a close. And, it was ANOTHER LOVELY WEEKEND. My trip to PSU to visit Vince was quite INSPIRATIONAL. Spending time in the Library, at Arts Fest and the People's Choice Art Show, and at a very enjoyable bonfire gathering of Navs friends. Yesterday we enjoyed an evening picnic at my house with Vince's family, and Vince and I attended the show 'See of a Nation' about the founding of Pennsylvania. This was the show that I helped sew costumes for (designed by Janell Berte).

Oh, AND, we went to Gettysburg for another TAILCOAT fitting with Kara Bartels (Cornerclothiers.com). It really is such an exciting process to have her make a Tailcoat for Vince's wedding attire. We stopped in at Needles and Thread and purchased some other supplies for his wedding day attire. Now I'm just waiting for the silk to arrive for his vest...and I need to pick up my sewing machine from the shop! Then, back to sewing and pattern making.

Today I think I'll work on pattern making - Vince's vest and also another idea I'm working on. : )
