Today was a delightful sewing day...and that's saying a lot! Not every day is a delightful sewing day! Today I worked on a large striped silk victorian vest (beautiful fabric and pattern!) and a striped cotton victorian man's shirt. We also had a staff meeting so that helped to break up the day.

After work I visited the Textile Studio and Calico Corners to look for fabric for a customer. But...I ended up spending too much money on silk for an 1850s dress for myself. : ( I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the fabric or take it back. It's a 'old' silver silk taffeta that I purchased as pre-cut goods so I'm able to return it. So, we'll see.

I straightened my hair today with my new Chi hair straightener. It worked like a charm. It was worth the extra...too much money. The other two straighteners I have aren't nearly as nice. : )

Tonight is room cleaning time. So far I've organized my closet and gotten rid of a few clothes that I no longer wear...but I still have a long way to go!
