These Victorian era bathing slippers are the inspiration for my bathing costume. I'd like to use purple wool for the dress and trousers and ivory or beige wool for a greek key design along the skirt. I saw this one one bathing costume and really loved it. I felt like there was a bathing costume that matched these slippers but I can't seem to find pictures of one in my collection so maybe I was wrong.
