These are the Van Gogh paintings that I'm using as the inspiration for my painting. I wanted something MINTY GREEN to match the black and mint colored antique trunk that we have in the hallway outside of our bedroom. If I'd known the above painting existed I might have just ordered a print of it. But I only had an image of the painting below, so I decided to make my own similar painting but in a vertical design to fit the antique oval picture frame that I wanted to use. But it will be more unique this way anyway. So far I've got the background painted out...which is good, because it was difficult to mix the paint to be the exact color of the trunk. :)
