The Holidays are over and now I am left alone. And the loneliness engulfs me. Being newly married is lonely. In a strange town, far away from my family and friends, always alone. Now that the busyness of setting up house is drawing to a close, life feels strangely silent. I could busy myself with new projects but I don't think that would cover up my lack of social contact. I need friends here. We are involved in a Bible study, but somehow everyone in it is always so busy...too busy to meet up outside of studies.
I look forward to new sewing projects and work at the college starting up again soon. But still, I am in need of friends here.
