Today was exhausting! Snow was falling lightly to the ground as I got dressed. Curled my hair and put on a pretty pair of wool pants (snuggly warm!). Looked my prettiest and drove to give a presentation for a class at a local high school. Discussed my small business and education in Costume Design. Showed some pictures of my work...like these pictures from 'Cabaret'. This is Sally's opening costume. It's supposed to be very 1920s scandalous. ;) And, on my way out, got a 'hi' and smile from a young male teacher
. Hehehe. Guess I should curl my hair and wear it down more often. :) Or maybe Vince would say I shouldn't now! It is nice to be noticed though...I think we'd all agree as women.Afterwards I stopped at the thrift shop and then...that's when my day got exhausting. I went to Target <3 and then Michael's - where I found some really great decorating items on super clearance. Then, I got lost on the way home. Why me? This is the second time I've gotten really lost...I'm just so bad with highway numbers. But, no, I'm not going to say I'm dyslexic...first, because I'm not sure how to spell it, and secondly because I know way too many people who claim they are. But I just get them all mummbo jumboed in my head. Vince said he would feel silly getting me a GPS just so that I could navigate around town. But it might help! Hehehe. So I ended up driving for about 45 minutes before returning to Michael's - since I was practically back there by the time I knew where I was - and purchased another clearance item. Then I took the long way home - the way that I knew. :) Heh. Don't ask me for directions, please don't, I'll be so lucky if I can get myself anywhere...trust me, I can't get you there! Hehehe.
But I did have a good adventure anyway!
