A book dug from my bookshelf that has proved an important read of late. I'm hoping to make or purchase a new corset soon so I've been digging for inspiration in that area. I think I have a few color ideas and definitely a fabric inspiration: silk (of course!). I love the corset on the front cover - it's an olive green silk with diamond pattern. It's gorgeous!

I've been looking at this book for a while now - is it worth buying do you think?
I purchased it a few years ago at Borders for $25. If you can still find it at that price then it would definitely be worth it. It's a fun book with pretty many pictures and lots of neat information on corsets throughout the ages. It has pictures of originals - not too detailed though, and lots of images from art and magazines showing corsets. The cover image is fabulous, too! :)
