Nancy Rogers (Right) did the legwork behind the event and set up the sewing display for this room. She had printed images of period sewing projects from Godeys and other magazines and workbooks of the era and placed them in photo holders and frames which made the whole display look very professional. She also owned a number of original items and had displayed her reproductions (which looked just like originals!) as well. She was a really wonderful lady to get to know. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to reenact with her in the future.
