I'm supposed to be getting ready for a civil war reenactment tomorrow but I just don't feel much like going. I suppose it will be fun. I just feel a little tired out - just from working way too hard and never getting much of a break (other than my recent vacation...). Tomorrow at the event I need to be working on trimming a bonnet for a customer and pleating some dresses for the Belair tableaux. : ( Boohoo. So much work to do.
I've been really inspired to continue to improve my civil war impression and branch out into events that are more authentic. I'm really looking forward to the 1888 immersion event in September. : ) But, at the same time I feel the urge to take a break from all of this craziness. So, we'll see what happens. I'm definitely not quiting the hobby, maybe just looking to take a little break from some things in the future. My life needs organized. : )

I often feel like taking a break from reenacting craziness. Mostly because I don't have time to even think about improving my impression (which definitely needs some improvement). I'm too focused on trying to improve my real life. However, I have it in my head that I will make a new dress before your event in September. :)
