This beautiful painting by Mr. Vincent van Gogh...Roses. Painted in the 1890s and they are still quite Lovely.

I'm creating my own 'masterpiece' that is oh so obviously inspired by it. But that's okay. It's for a special part of my house - the hallway with the minty green trunk. Ahhh...one of my favorite spots in the house. With all of its character and minty green and black love, it's the perfect spot to be inspired. And so, it didn't seem fair to frame a print of a famous painting. This hallway, so full of life, needed a real painting with all of its blemishes and brushstrokes and, well, its life. So, I'm painting one to place there, amongst the vintage mirrors on the wall. It will be my own little masterpiece.
