Here's today's Inspirational Christmas-y picture!
I love the greens on their mantle! Wish we had a fire place in our apartment. We really enjoy hanging out by the fireplaces at our parents' houses!
Today was busy busy busy. We had to wake up early (Ugh!) but it turned out okay afterall. I'm not even tired yet!
Work at PSU with the historical textiles was FUN. Then I dropped by Goodwill to pick up a 1930s style silk chiffon dress that I saw the other day. I've been inspired by the dresses in the PSU collection and may want to add some beadwork to this dress. We're travelling to Pittsburgh this winter to attend a friend's wedding...I can't wait...and this dress just might work to wear...with a fur stole, of course.
Tonight I put the lights on our FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE as a married couple! It was exciting!
And I also did TONS of GROCERY shopping...out cupboards were ABSOLUTELY bare. But now we're good.
Last night Vince took me to Duffy's Tavern, a local restaurant. We ate in the back room right next to the cozy fire. It was PERFECT. I had a Spinach Salad that was the best salad I've ever tasted. And we had a delicious Peanut Butter Pie for dessert...which I would love to make sometime. It was such a TREAT to go out to dinner with my Vincent. ;)
