on the laptop while baking cookies! What an excellent movie! I just had to write a little blog note about it quickly...the costumes are amazing! I can't wait to sit down and watch it again to see all of the details. Many of the dresses are made of silk and they all pretty much look period correct. The movie takes place in the 1850s-60s. Such great dress ideas! The acting is excellent, too. :)
The movie is about Isabella Beeton who wrote the book "Mrs. Beeton's Book of Household Management" in the 1850s.
The black and white picture is of her.(Isn't that kitchen scene so perfect! I want to cook in period clothing!)
