Painterly Ramblings

This Christmas has been so BUSY! There are a million presents to buy and make it seems and so many other things I'd rather focus my time on. Today I SHOPPED...basically all day.

But, on the bright side. Things are really looking NICE at our house!!! On Saturday we went to a local town's Victorian Christmas celebration. And, while we were there, we checked out the best antique spots and ended up bringing home som great finds! A DARLING large White antique frame with chalkboard...for the office. A black and white stool. And a black and white chair for Vince's desk. And today I purchased the curtain fabric to top it off. I can't wait to show you pictures once I have it all finished!

The living room curtains are finished and hung and I just need to finish the draping that goes with them...then I'll post pictures of those, too!

And, as for the title of this post...yes, I've been PAINTING a lot recently! I rummaged through my old art supplies and pulled out all of my paints and brushes and set to work painting...presents, pictures, furniture, and frames! We have a lot of ANTIQUE frames that needed a little touch up. I wanted them to look old and unique, but I didn't want them to look worn out, so I touched them up a bit, and boy do they look FABULOUS! I mean, really really sooo much better than they did look!
