Today was...FABULOUS! Once more. :)

I attended church with my family and then spent the afternoon working on sanding the newest of my thrifted furniture finds. An adorable little VANITY table and MIRROR thrifted for $6. I love using the power sander...and think I might want to get one of those for myself someday! ; ) I think I've found a new favorite hobby - refinishing furniture. Forget that sewing stuff. Heh. :)

This evening we went to a family get together at my Aunt's house. They threw a SURPRISE bridal shower for me!!! It was lots of fun! They even had a cake with a picture of Vince and I in our Civil War ball attire. My Cousin's daughter made me a beautiful pink beaded bracelet which I already love wearing.

I LOVE this song by Ian McIntosh! My friend, Katie, introduced it to me. I wish I could find more songs like this - instrumental - to use for the wedding. I just can't figure out how to search for things like that.
