Here is a picture of the Vintage couch sitting in our new apartment. There is a story that goes with this lonely and very retro image. Heh. So, you may wonder what happened to that very gorgeous Calico Corner couch that I splurged and spent a fortune on... Well, after much measuring and an attempt to get it into the apartment we finally needed to face the fact...it couldn't fit through the front (or back) door. :( So it's not going to be living with us...at least not for now. I'm not sure what we're going to do with it, actually. So, here we have the antique sofa that I purchased, with the vintage pillows that came with it. Two vintage lamps that I thrifted...after I got them all set up someone knocked one and broke the globe...so that was glued. :) And the vintage marble tables that I just adore...also thrifted. The sofa has some furs on it right now. I'm not sure where I'm going with the design for this room. So it's just 'as is' for now. I'm hoping to find some other vintage chairs to go in the room...but they need to be really really cheap. I was originally planning to go for more of a french country look...but this is far from that!
