It's been awhile since I've posted and...I'm sorry! I'm trying so hard to do better and post every day, and I'll keep trying. These are some of my recent inspirations. I think it's good to share inspirations with eachother because what inspires me might inspire you, too. And I know I'm always interested in what others are inspired by!
These lovely bags are from Christina Strutt's book 'Romantic Home Sewing' which is a completely delightful little book with all sorts of wonderful sewing ideas for the home, including aprons and bags. Yay! I love the fabrics she's chosen.
The image below shows the fabric of my new sofa. I am supremely satisfied with it! My first sofa! It's beautiful! What a wonderful present from my Sweet Vincent. The green fabric swatch on it shows a fabric that I'll be using as an accent color in the room.
Natalie! I love the dress she wore the other day on the Today show. Usually I don't watch it, but maybe I'll have to start just so that I can see her clothing! I remember I would often turn on the TV in the mornings when I was in High School so that I could get an idea of the latest styles and be inspired by Katie's clothing. I don't think I would make a dress like this, but a top sure would be cute.
Lately I've been so inspired by the clothing patterns from Simplicity. But I sort of have a rule that I don't sew everyday clothing for myself. And sometimes I want to break down and buy the cute patterns, but I usually have so much luck thrifting for clothing that I really don't need to sew myself anything...do I?
I've been working on the wedding lately, too. I started a new blog for the wedding planning. Check it out HERE.

I thought about starting a wedding blog. However, I rarely use my regular one so I figure I may as well use wedding babble to fill it up. :)
