Meet MY COUCH!

After falling in love with this adorable love seat at a local Calico Corners outlet...over a year ago, I was determined that I would have a couch like it someday. But, at that point I wasn't even engaged. When I went back over the winter and saw it there I was determined to have it (once more), but the price was oh so high, and even my sweet Vincent who always wants to please me couldn't see paying that much money. So, I took a picture on my cell phone and decided not to go back to the store until it was sold. I drove by the store every day after work and attempted to peer in the window (while driving...yeah) to see if it was still there. And, the other day when I walked into the store and didn't see it in it's usual spot I was almost glad that it was gone. After all, I couldn't have it. But, as I rounded the last corner of the store I saw it - and it was true love all over again. Ugh...because I still couldn't get it! I begged and pleaded but all to no avail. Even though the price had dropped a few hundred dollars, it was still way too expensive for our newlywed budget. So, I came up here to PSU to see my handsome, and after talking to some older friends, he realized that I am an artist and designer even in my decorating, and need to be supported in that. And so, my handsome let me purchase the love seat of my dreams! Isn't that sweet?

The love seat is the same style as the one pictured on the Calico Corners website except it has a smaller floral print - but in the same colors, so it has more brown showing. It is divine! It reminds me of the fabulous pieces at anthropologie.com.
