The New Me

Tuesday: Today I accepted a job as a Stitcher at Sight and Sound. It's not my dream job, but it will pay for insurance. Hopefully the work environment will also be nice. I toured the place this morning.

Wednesday: My first day of work. Yay! I love my new job. Lots of fun people to meet and get to know and tons of things to learn. : )

Thursday: Second day of work. ; ) Now I know for sure that this is the right place for me. The pay is great for my beginning level, and the benefits are excellent. Plus the job is relatively easy for me - not stressful, and the people are really great to talk to and work with. I love it! I know that this is exactly where God wants me to be right now and I will trust Him for the rest.

Last night Vince and I went out to dinner with his Grandmother after work. Afterwards we headed back to her house to look through some of her really old photo albums. It was FUN! Lots of the photos were from the 1930s and 40s and earlier so there were some neat costumes to look at. They also had some great photos of farm life. Vince's Grandmother had a sister that was only a few months younger than her so they both had on really gorgeous almost matching outfits throughout the album. Some really great looks. Even though they were farm girls, they sure did dress well! I think it would be fun to have a sister to be close to like she is with her sister.
