This morning I purchased Vogue patterns at JoAnns. I splurged just a little because they were on sale, and afterall, I hadn't purchased any in awhile. I'm really excited about sewing modern clothing now. Especially since I have been super tempted by many of the sumptous fabrics at the Fabric Outlet lately. So I purchased some modern Vogue patterns as well as a few Vintage Vogue patterns that I didn't already own. Yay!
Spent the morning and afternoon working on the tableaux. I purchased some clear photo holders and am making little information sheets about each tableau, tableaux in general, and Orientalism. Hopefully this will help the public to better understand my display.
Sewing on the tableaux costumes continues.
Spent time downloading new songs to my ipod so that I can get back into the mood of work tomorrow. Ugh. No brain usage necessary. : ( But, I'm staying up late to squeeze that last bit of brain power into something slightly amusing.
