Today I packed my 1960s black luggage tote with little goodies for our trip - loads of jewelry among other things. And now I'm one step closer to being ready for our Wedding and Honeymoon trip! :) The count down has begun. Today is Saturday, and next Saturday at this time I'll be a married woman. Married to my Best Friend. A man that I cherish, love and respect. And I am SO excited about going on a Honeymoon with him to Chester County where we will enjoy all of the delights that Fall has to offer. Hot cider, sipping wine at a fancy restaurant, brightly colored leaves, fur, art museums, train rides, gardens, comfortable Bed and Breakfasts, holding hands, the cool air, sitting by the river, and remembering our First Date and Engagement at the Brandywine River Museum! It's going to be such a marvelous trip! :)

oh, i'm so delighted for you! the countdown has truly begun! my one word of advice for your wedding day: take moments to step back and truly drink it all in. just take a deep breath and smell the air, feel the love surrounding you, look closely at all the details that you have dreamt about and now are a reality. and take the time to greet your guests as much as you can. that's the only thing we regret, not really taking the time to hug more of them and show them our love...we were so into OUR love toward one another, which of course was wonderful and just fine to be that way.
and your honeymoon....oh, there's just nothing like it. pictures, pictures, pictures! 6 years later some of my favorite pictures are still framed in our bedroom, from our honeymoon.
be blessed as you marry the man you were matched with.
